The Main Lodge

Deluxe Accommodations

Our Main Lodge is a large two storey timber frame building with a spacious, comfortable common area featuring a fireplace and a fully functioning kitchen and dining room to complement the lodge’s country charm.

Fully furnished, complete with in floor heating to warm those cold toes after an afternoon of ice skating or snow shoeing. The attached little study houses a wealth of information bound in books which chronicle tales of local culture and colorful stories of native folklore. Aside from offering a breathtaking view of Bear Mountain the back porch grants exclusive access to the east end of Hinsberger Lake. The elevated deck overlooks a secluded and natural ecosystem which flourishes in the shallow bay. A dock protrudes like a century old piece of driftwood, providing a vantage point for canoes and the odd Muskoka chair. From here our guests can access the remainder of Hinsburger Lake along with the island sanctuaries and rock bluffs that adorn it.

The main lodge is designed to be the perfect retreat for large families or groups. (all prices are in canadian funds)

Individual room rental, shared accommodation

A smaller group is also welcome to utilize the main lodge with the understanding that you will be sharing the lodge with other parties. Full use of main lodge and amenities, the recreation hall and all camp activities are included in your stay.

$50 per person a night (two people per room.)

Booking a room exclusively for your use is also available with the understanding that you will be sharing the lodge with other parties. Full use of main lodge and amenities, the recreation hall and all camp activities are included in your stay.
